Funds raised from the end of year will provide high school education to 20 gifted by underprivileged girls, provide free English language lessons to 50 adults and 50 children the aim is provide beneficiaries with the knowledge and skill to help them improve their own lives.
High poverty levels mean children and often adults are left out of the educational process. If the parent is not in school it often means the children will never get chance to go to school; creating a vicious cycle. The project will benefit out of school children, gifted but under privileged girls and poor and disadvantaged adults.
By providing the much needs funds required to provide access to education for children and their families. It also addresses the challenge by providing much needed training in the areas of technology and language creating much needed expertise. Further he project will provide supplies enabling beneficiaries to access an improved quality of education.
In the long term it is envisioned that girls and women will not only have access to education but acquire additional skills that will help them lead empowered lives. It is also envisioned that the English language lessons will open up beneficiaries to new opportunities which banking and other financial services and small business training. Providing English language lessons to out of school children will help build a better foundation.
