We are officially back in our offices, and it feels great to be here! Advocates at Fair Haven were able to return back to the office full-time on July 6th, 2020 and we welcomed our clients back with many air hugs on July 13th, 2020. While navigating supportive services during a pandemic have been very different, we are moving forward! Fair Haven is currently following all CDC regulations, including temperature checks whenever someone comes into our office, wearing masks when social distancing is not allowed, and all staff are wearing masks while in a support group setting. This is such a strange time, but we are committed to our survivors, and are doing all we can to meet them where they are at.
Along with the pandemic, major rennovations have been taking place in our agency. We recognized that we wanted to give our clients the comfiest and secure space we could, and decided to go forward with some major changes. You can see in the photos-- things turned out great. This new group room allows for more space between clients, especially during our support groups that are attended by a lot of survivors!! We are so thankful for the support and patience of our clients during this transition.
This year has been a trying time. We continue to be flexible and remain a safe port in our community for our survivors. Our teens are continuing to chug along, and are doing a great time with all the changes that are going on in their lives- including recovery!
