Spotlight: Solar Energy Powers Clean Water
The PHC is the site of MFA's pilot Watergen installation, which means that the PHC has access to clean water 24/7 and it’s 100% powered by solar energy. This is especially crutial in an area (1) without access to reliable electricity (2) where a cholera outbreak continues to impact the health of the community.
Leveraging a patented process, Watergen units can convert ambient moisture into clean drinking water. These systems are powered entirely by solar energy, making them both sustainable and environmentally friendly.
