Alzahraa Medical Center (AMC) established on the 23rd of November 2008, owned by the Alawite Islamic Charity Association (AICA) is a primary health care center (PHCC) located in Tripoli within the reach of a huge population estimated around 400,000 people. The center is considered to be part of health relief for the population especially after the catastrophic financial crisis that Lebanon and its cities are facing where the minimum wages dropped down from 450 USD to around 30 USD per month.
The center is considered to be part of health relief for the population especially after the catastrophic financial crisis that Lebanon and its cities are facing where the minimum wages dropped down from 450 USD to around 30 USD per month during the last 3 years leading to poverty and lack of health security as food and education security.
Through donating to us, we will be sustaining the premises for serving thousands of beneficiaries through covering our operational expenses from salaries, medicines, materials, fuel for electricity and other expenses. Like every institution or individual in Lebanon we are facing difficulties in maintaining our services within the rocketing inflation that is hitting the country. A monthly running cost of 20,000 USD i needed for operational costs of the center in the absence of the government and
AMC serves vulnerable patients without any discrimination in gender, color, race or religion. The center provides more then 7,000 medical services per month to patients from all over Tripoli areas through more than 60 doctors, nurses and staff.
