1) 2024 Annual Report & Financial Disclosure

The 2024 annual project review and financial report of this project has been published. Visit our official WeChat account for details.

2) AmCham Shanghai Sustainability Conference
On January 10, "Pride From The Mountains" was invited to the 2024 Sustainability and Responsibility Leadership Conference and Awards hosted by the Shanghai American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham). At the charity exhibition zone, we showcased ethnic handicrafts and their cultural significance to attendees, including AmCham members and NGO peers.

3)Volunteer Innovation Workshop
Before the Lunar New Year, we gathered volunteers from diverse industries passionate about ethnic cultural preservation and education. Together, we brainstormed ways to optimize the program experience for students and teachers. Over 100 innovative ideas emerged, with three top-voted concepts now entering low-cost pilot testing.

4) Shanjue Winter Art Camp

Fifteen new students from Gongma Village joined the winter camp, immersing themselves in three courses:

  • Black Tent-Making: Learning nomadic weaving techniques through hands-on practice.
  • Traditional Tibetan Opera: Role-playing traditional dramas with infectious enthusiasm.
  • Tibetan Calligraphy: Mastering scripts with traditional tools in creative, playful ways.

The classrooms buzzed with laughter as students embraced their heritage. Though the camp has ended, their passion for cultural exploration continues to grow—we eagerly await their return next semester!

2. Project Cooperation

1) Dunhuang Cultural Collaboration
To enhance the summer camp experience, our team and Applied Materials’ CSR representatives visited the Dunhuang Contemporary Art Museum in Yangpu District, Shanghai. We explored cultural exhibitions and discussed integrating Dunhuang culture into the camp curriculum to promote interaction, exchange, and integration among ethnic groups. Potential camp venues near the museum were also assessed.

2) Artistic Partnership Talks
Pre-Lunar New Year meetings were held with artist Ms. Xu and educational drama expert Ms. Dong to plan 2025 collaborations in ethnic cultural documentation and innovative talent showcases.

3. Project Updates

  • End-of-Semester Reports: Collection for the 2024-2025 first semester is nearly complete.
  • Media Archives: Over 50% of art class photos/videos have been stored.
  • Funding Progress: Half of partner schools have submitted requests for the second funding disbursement.
