"Pride From The Mountains" is an education charity program focused on art and cultural inheritance in rural ethnic areas. Through the empowerment of local teachers and inheritance professionals, ethnic cultural, and art classes are carried out for primary school students. These include musical instruments, singing and dancing, handicrafts, and fine arts. Summer camps and talent show are organized annually to bring kids from the mountain area to visit Shanghai and show their talent and culture.
The living heritage of ethnic groups-from traditional customs to performing arts-is fading under urbanization and global cultural homogenization. With fewer opportunities for youth to engage in ancestral practices, generations grow disconnected from the skills and artistry that once anchored their identities, risking the loss of cultural roots essential to ethnic pride.
1) We nurture young cultural inheritors. We Implement ethnic cultural education programs in primary and secondary schools within ethnic communities to inspire children to learn and preserve their local and ethnic traditions. 2) We build a vibrant stage for children to show and exchange their cultural talent and traditions. Through these interactions, the beauty of China's diverse ethnic cultures radiates brilliantly, empowering children to cultivate.
1) Inspire children with their own cultural heritage.Through hands-on workshops led by ethnic artisans, students rediscover the stories and wisdom woven into ancient festivals. 2) Infuse ethnic traditions with renewed vitality.By bridging ancestral skills with modern platforms, we turn fading crafts into dynamic tools for self-expression. 3) Ignite the light of confidence in children's eyes. This generation reclaim their heritage not as relics, but as light that shining brightly.
