This summer we have been preparing for our September Back to School. We have been working hard on our Back to school campaign as well as closing this past school year 2024-2025.
On July 3rd, 2025, Casa Abierta Monte de Piedad, an historical buiding in Mexico City, became the scenery for the 3rd Student PROED encounter where 100 students and teachers from our Mexico City and Estado de México Schools got together to share learning experiences from all of our PROED workshops, courses and programs and to conclude in a very symbolic way the 2024- 2025 school year.
During this encounter, the participants presented their projects developed within PROED´s programs such as: NEPSO, Math Marathon, I Decide, Reading Enhancement; and Arts. This programs promote critical thinking, healthy decision making,drug and alcohol prevention,student involvement in their communities, reading enhancement, critical thinking through art and a boost in their self esteem.
It was an amazing way to close the 2024-2025 school year. Our Prevention of Substance Abuse in all our schools was highlighted through the I Decide and NEPSO programs, where students addressed drug and alcohol consumption effects within their own communities.
