On 2026 September 05, Couple's Quiz Competition was organized on the occasion of the 20th National Day Against Human Trafficking, under the national slogan; “Proper Use of Technology and Vigilance: Solidarity for Building a Human Trafficking-Free Nation.”
14 couples from Ward No. 12 and 13 of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan city participated in the competition. The husbands and wives took part as teams. They were asked questions about the prevention and control of human trafficking and transportation, with a focus on how individuals and families can help prevent trafficking. The participants’ answers also helped raise awareness among the audience about the risks of human trafficking and ways to prevent it.
On the same occasion, awareness stickers were placed on public vehicles operating along the East-West Highway. The activity was organized by the Ministry of Social Development in coordination with the anti-human trafficking network. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness about human trafficking and encourage everyone to contribute to its prevention.
