Dear Donors,
The Prevent Period Poverty Project, started 2 years ago, is ongoing after launching in Our Lady of Mercy Girls Senior School and St. Joseph's Musokoto Senior School benefiting more than 800 and 600 girls directly. The new project construction of modern comprehensive girls' changing rooms is in progress located in Fr. Simon Sibembe Senior School where more than 200 girls will benefit directly by mid-November this year.
Administrators, teaching staff and parents have seen an increase in attendance and higher grades at these schools. Along with the long-term benefits to the students, there are immediate positives for laborers in these communities where unemployment is extremely high. With requests from many schools for these bathrooms and changing rooms, Grow Against Poverty hopes to fund the construction of one or more in 2027 and in subsequent years.
Your continued support is valuable to Prevent Period Poverty’s mission to increase the number of female students who graduate high school and gain admission to a university. Please GIVE NOW for our 2027 project.
Regards,
John Roccanova, Volunteer Fundraiser
