Prevent Cruelty to Animals

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your support to our initiative preventing the cruelty to animals. We are facing a lot of problems both social and economic and animals are the least of priority in terms of care and support. There are a few pets that are abandoned by their owners and left to fend for themselves. In this case, we promote the adoption of pets by families willing to take good care of them. The process we do is informal and neighborly which is the common practice here. In this manner, we are able to facilitate the adoption of 12 pets mainly dogs and puppies to families wanting them. We will be doing some more of this strategy as we found that this is effective. Thank you once again for your kind help.

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project the prevention of cruelty to animals. We are happy to note that despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic to the communities here we are still able to efficiently implement this project. What we are doing is integrating our efforts to the general community development work with our local communities. For example in our training with farmers, we included animal prevention protocols which include treatment and care for animals who exhibit sick symptoms. We were able to implement this with 93 trainees in 2 villages and we plan to continue this effort as we go along. Again thank you so much for your generosity.

Good day to you and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative preventing cruelty to animals. We are happy to report that we are able to provide support to poor farming families who own animals either as pets or for economic reasons because even with the difficulty caused by climate change and the coronavirus pandemic, we still enjoy support from you as well as from other friends and benefactors. This reporting period we are able to provide food packs to small farmers as a way of improving their lives and livelihoods and ameliorating their difficult economic conditions. We are able to provide one food pack each to a total of 225 farmers in this manner. Hoping for your continuing kindness as we continue to face uncertain future ahead. Again thank you so much.

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project preventing the cruelty to animals. During this reporting period, we are working mostly in our office and homes due to severe lock-downs in the communities. The coronavirus pandemic has taken its toll even in far flung places and we don't know when this will be okay. Anyway we continue to assist communities through education and communication via cellphones in order to inform them of the need to prevent the cruelty of animals. We don't really know of their actual response but we will keep on doing the same approach until we feel it is safe enough for field activities.

Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project preventing the cruelty of animals. During this coronavirus pandemic the welfare of animals is often overlooked as the welfare of people especially the elderly and the young is given assistnce and there is a need to also prioritize their welfare. The need now is more acute with dwindling resources in the rural areas and the inability of local authorities to support all concerns. During this reporting period we engaged in providing flyers reminding local villagers to take good care of their animals and to make sure that their welfare is prioritized. We are able to distribute a total of 300 flyers in 2 villages during this period. Hoping for your continuing assistance to this important project.
