Activities taken-up in the last quarter

 Awareness campaign to spread the importance of Education

 An awareness campaign is conducted at Chennai to spread the importance of Education. Govt school students along with their parents visited each house and did a door to door campaign to educate the other parents about the impact of illiteracy. The details of school dropouts are collected from each house and a database is prepared. The same database will be shared with Govt authorities for further action.

Stationary Distribution to the Poor Students

The foundation along with support of corporate employees distributed the stationary to 80 poor students at Hyderabad. This stationary will help them in attending the forth coming exams and educational activities. The corporate employee shared some motivational stories with the students to encourage them and to make them aspire a larger goal for their future.

Set-up of Library at Hyderabad and Gurgaon School

A community library is set-up at Hyderabad and Gurgaon schools by Learning Links Foundation. This set-up will be accessible to the school dropouts / underprivileged students during evening hours. This initiative will help the students and community children to develop their reading skills and interest towards education. The foundation

Set-up of Solar Power plant at Bangalore

The foundation in support with the donors from corporate is setting –up solar power plants in two Govt schools of Bangalore. This set-up will provide technology access to community children / school dropouts even during power cuts.
