EDUCATION MY RIGHT
Education my right activity is conducted in 9 nodal schools across India during the month of March. Students conducted an awareness campaign in the nearby community to sensitize the society about the importance of literacy and Education. Students collected the details of the school dropouts working in the provision stores, motor bike repairing shops, hotels ....etc.
An orientation session is conducted to the parents of these students to rejoin them in to the formal schooling system. As an outcome of this activity more than 100 school dropouts are identified. These dropouts will be joining in the formal schooling system once the new academic year starts in the month of June. Discussions are initiated with the principals of the Govt Schools to make these students admitted in to their schools.
