Dear Friends and Supporters,
We wanted to share pictures of the delivery of the first set of supplies to the cervical cancer program with you! Project Heal, the student run organization at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill that conducts annual service trips to Ghana, delivered the supplies to Dr. Fofie at the Wa District Hospital this summer after hand carrying each piece in their suitcases. The supplies delivered included:
Attached are pictures of the then President of Project Heal, Boya Wang, with Dr. Fofie when Project Heal delivered the supplies. We hope to have an update from Dr. Fofie soon on his progress on the first trainings of the nurses who will be conducting the cervical cancer screenings and will keep you all updated.
Thank you for your dedicated support that enabled the purchase of the these supplies and the establishment of the first cervical cancer screening and treatment program in the Upper West Region of Ghana. As always we are open to comments, questions, or suggestions and you can reach me directly at director@medplusconnect.org.
Thank you,
Anna
