Dear Friends and Supporters
We are so happy to share that Dr. Fofie is now officially back in Wa! After several delays and a long recovery, he has resumed working at the Wa Regional Hospital and is very eager to advance the cervical cancer project. We expect that our next report will be filled with exciting updates on the progress of the program!
We also want to thank those who donated to our cause during this week's #GivingTuesday! You were a part of a worldwide philanthropic movement and by doing so, you've contributed greatly to the health and wellbeing of women in the Upper West Region of Ghana. For that, we sincerely thank you.
Now that we're in the holiday season, we also wanted to remind you that making a donation in honor of a loved one can be the perfect gift! When you sign up for a new monthly recurring donation between now and December 31st, a generous anonymous donor will match your initial gift 100%! Giving the gift of cervical cancer screening and prevention for women in Ghana is a meaningful and impactful gift and a recurring donation can keep giving throughout the year. Just $12 will purchase a speculum needed for early screenings. You can visit our project page here to see more.
Thank you all for your continued support of this important and much needed program! As always we are open to comments, questions, or suggestions and you can reach me directly at director@medplusconnect.org. We wish you all a happy holiday season and best wishes for the new year!
Thank you,
Anna
