In the last several months, Interfaith Neighbors has seen a great level of need as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Our area has been devastated, and families are falling through the cracks who didn't have insurance or who are ineligible for relief from FEMA. As a result, Interfaith Neighbors established a Sandy Relief fund to support the most vulnerable residents, and to help them back on their feet. Last month, Interfaith Neighbors provided assistance a single mother of two sons. Because of the storm, the mother’s employment stopped for several weeks which caused a financial hardship. The mother’s employment has resumed and the family is most grateful for the assistance. If you would like to help people just like this, please consider making a donation. Thank you!
