Our project trained 100 farmers (35% women) on improved pre and post-harvest handling practices, reducing food loss by 18% and increasing incomes by 25%.
Impact:
Food loss reduction, 18% reduction in food loss, saving 216 tons of food (enough to feed 1,800 people for a month)
Income increase, farmers reported a 25% increase in income due to better prices and reduced losses.
Improved food security, 87% of beneficiaries reported improved food security, with more food available for household consumption.
