Highlights at a glance
What we delivered
1) “Winter Holidays with POVIR”
Purpose: introduce new 7th, 9th and 11th graders to POVIR, spark interest, and form a pool for the first scaling wave (with a guaranteed right to join it).
Reach: 125 students.
Students worked on engaging subject tasks and took away practical learning tips and strategies. The live format helped create a safer space for sharing, support, and feedback.
2) Building the team for scaling: Talent Reserve School
We ran group interviews and qualification tests to recruit educators and SEL specialists to keep the platform functioning. Applications received (total 164): English 14 | History of Ukraine 18 | Math 32 | Ukrainian 43 | Physics 14 | Chemistry 18 | SEL educators 25
3) Strengthening POVIRpedia (content infrastructure)
We expanded POVIRpedia with new mind maps and wrap-up/reflection tools: 212 mind maps (English 71; Math 87: Algebra 50 / Geometry 37; Ukrainian 54), 33 warm-up & goal-setting exercises, 37 wrap-up & reflection exercises, 8 audio practices, 2 breathing practices for self-regulation.
Challenges
Power outages affected delivery of Talent Reserve School training sessions and overall functioning of the platform.
