Hello dear partners of Association NEEED. My name is Ramata and I have received one of your primary school teacher training scholarships through NEEED. I express my profound gratitude to you because, without this scholarship, I do not know where I would be today. Following my two years of training, I will receive a professional diploma (Certificat Elémentaire d’Aptitude Pédagogique) which will allow me to be employed as a teacher. I am extremely appreciative and I think always of the other girls who are in need. I ask you from the bottom of my heart to continue your generous partnership with NEEED which contributes enormously to the reduction of poverty and misery in all its forms. My greetings to all of your families.
My name is Rabiatou. My parents are subsistence farmers. I have two brothers and two sisters. I am very thankful to you for my scholarship to primary school teacher training. I chose teaching because since a very young age, I found this profession very honorable. When I was in primary school, I had a teacher named Mrs. Nacanabo. She was very kind to us, not like others who sometimes hit their students. One day I arrived at school to find the classrooms closed and the teachers in a group at the flag pole. Later, they told us that our teacher had had an accident the night before and died. All of us cried and since that day, I promised myself that I would become a teacher like Mrs. Nacanabo. Seriously, I thank you for helping me to realize my dream, which is to teach children.
To our GlobalGiving partners and generous donors, I add my sincere thanks for your continued support for the training of young village women who will soon join the cadre of primary school teachers responsible for the education of the next generations of children in Burkina. Education is critical for the future of Burkina.Attachments:
