Your support of Tour de Cure and the American Diabetes Association has helped us accomplish some great things in 2010, here are just a few examples:
We held a Diabetes Expo at the Oregon Convention Center with over 5,000 people in attendance throughout the day.
Our Safe at School Program provided trainings in 110 schools and trained over 700 school personnel in Oregon/SW Washington
We currently fund three research projects in our area that total $1,196.753.00
We held our Annual Practice Update which is a continuing education program for health care professionals
Locally, we sent more than 20,000 pieces of information and materials to individuals, companies, hospitals and health care organizations
Participated in over 40 Health Fairs and Community Forums reaching nearly 7,000 people
