As we look forward to the 2016 holiday season, we want to thank our GlobalGiving donors for your generous support of our Tour de Cure cycling event in 2016. You made a huge difference in the lives of more than 1.4 million people in our communities affected by and at risk for diabetes by helping to provide funding for research, advocacy and education including Safe at School, Living with Type 2 Diabetes and so much more. The 2016 Tour de Cure event raised over $415,000! Thank you for your support to make this happen.
Looking forward to 2017, we must continue our work through Tour de Cure to raise funds as this ever growing disease continues to affect more than 29.1 million. The 2017 Tour de Cure will be held on July 29th in Hillsboro Oregon and our goal this year is to raise $500,000. We hope you will join us again in support of our mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
Are you ready to join us this year?
Participating in the Tour de Cure is an experience you will never forget. The event is well organized and has walking and cycling routes available for all skill levels. You will be inspired by all of those joining you as you make an impact for this great cause.
