Engaging volunteers is both valuable for people served as well as rewarding for volunteers. PMD significantly increases charities’ volunteer capacity, and thus their ability to serve clients.
PMD acts as a catalyst to spur individuals who normally cannot volunteer regularly by offering quality, one-time opportunities to make a difference. Conservative estimates calculate 4/5 charities involve volunteers, but only 1 of the 4 effectively manages volunteers since good management requires experience, leadership, resources, and a pro-volunteer culture throughout a nonprofit. PMD's expertise is in recruiting and managing volunteers AND accurately estimating work, tools, and materials.
