Thank you so much for helping us towards our target of £6000 to support 256 rural Ugandans to plough out of poverty. The money raised so far will help 4 families to share two oxen and plough to grow lots of food.
Over the coming months we will be working with our existing community organisations to review and develop existing practices enabling us to invest with confidence to new enterprises in the new year.
We will be able to issue loans to empower people living in desperate poverty with repayments usually over 3 years. This will help to transform the lives of many families enabling children to obtain an education, provide healthcare and regular meals. Quality of life will be improved for whole communities.
As loans are repaid, these moneys are re-invested in another new enterprise providing long term investment in rural Uganda.
Once again, thank you all for supporting this project. If you want to find out more or to get further involved then please contact me iainpatton@foag.co.uk
