Help 400 Children in Settlements Stay in School

We are pleased to share the progress of the initiative, “Help 400 Children in Settlements Stay in School.” Between March 2025 and June 2026, we received donations amounting to USD 2,000.64. We sincerely thank all our supporters for their generosity and trust.

The contributions received have helped strengthen the daily functioning of our 10 Supplementary Education Centres, provide essential study materials, and continue nutrition support for children from migrant labourer families.

Today, more than 400 children are being supported through these centres, which offer after-school academic assistance, homework support, mentoring, and a safe and encouraging learning environment. These centres continue to play an important role in helping children remain connected to education and improve their learning outcomes.

As the new academic year began in June, the children started school with renewed confidence and enthusiasm. During the two-month summer vacation, we organized summer camps focused on life skills, personality development, teamwork, collective learning, games, and sports. These activities created joyful learning opportunities and helped children develop confidence, communication, and social skills.

Study materials and educational aids will be provided to children from economically vulnerable backgrounds to support them in beginning the new academic year with dignity and motivation. In addition, regular parent meetings continue to ensure close monitoring of each child’s progress and strengthen family participation in the educational journey of their children.
