We are delighted to share an update from our project “Help 400 Children in Settlements Stay in School.” Thanks to your continued generosity, more than 400 children of migrant labourers are now able to stay in school and pursue their education with renewed enthusiasm and confidence.
Our 10 Supplementary Education Centres in the slums are actively supporting these children by providing daily after-school learning sessions, homework assistance, and personal mentoring. These centres have become safe and nurturing spaces where children not only receive academic support but also develop social skills and self-confidence.
During the last reporting period, we received $121 in donations, for which we are deeply grateful. These funds were utilized to support the functioning of the supplementary education centres, provide essential study materials and educational supplies to the most deserving children and continue our nutrition support program, ensuring that every child receives healthy snacks regularly.
Parents have reported noticeable improvements in their children’s academic performance and overall interest in learning. Many children have shown increased participation in classroom activities and better retention in school.
In addition to academic support, we organize extracurricular sessions every Saturday, including art, games, and life skills workshops. These activities help children express themselves creatively and build confidence. Their smiles and excitement every week are a true reflection of the positive impact your support creates.
Your continuous encouragement and contributions make this work possible. Together, we are ensuring that children from the most vulnerable backgrounds can dream of a better future through education.
