We continued this year with our therapeutic music classes with the signature DJ for LOVE series that took place in ChingChuan and Taitung with our youth after first launching in December 2025. Plant-based meals of fried “chicken” drumsticks and conrbread or mashed potatoescontinued to be paired with this creative education workshop, much to the children’s delight. Muay Thai boxing session with Coach Andre Terere was introduced that featured kids creation of a Brazilian curry reflecting the coach’s background and culture before theyset out on a grueling but fun workout.
So far, the first half of the year has been packed and we are looking forward to our annual surf camp in just a few weeks. We also have a lineup of BUILD A HOME projects in Taichung and Taitung that beautifies children’s homes and community centers alongside them. A huge project we mentioned last year that brings our creative education and most importantly for us, meals on wheel, is looking to launch very soon by Q4.
Some figures:
Indigenous youth: 242
Plant based meals: 245
Household outreach for food and necessities : 25
Noodle portions distributed: 595
There’s so much going on but we want to thank you first for supporting our journey with the children and am excited about the next update! Check our attached pdf for more images!
