The Clean Green Pakistan campaign was initiatied by the PM of Pakistan to improve the environmental and climatic condition of Pakistan. Joy Foundation has also taken part in this movement and initiated its tree plantation program. Trees help to combat global warming by absorbing carbon dioxide, removing and storing carbon while releasing oxygen back into the air. Humans, animals and the environment depend upon trees for survival. Therefore, as deforestation continues, we must put back what we’re taking away.
By planting more trees, it will contribute to global reforestation efforts, restoring lost forests, repairing damaged ecosystems and mitigating climate changes. Since the beginning, trees have furnished us with two of life’s essentials, food and oxygen. As we evolved, they provided additional necessities such as shelter, medicine, and tools. Today, their value continues to increase and more benefits of trees are being discovered as their role expands to satisfy the needs created by our modern lifestyles. Joy Foundation aims to plant as many trees we can and to continue this work we need as many funds. We hope we will receive support for this initiative.
