Project Matthew is pleased to report that our income generation project in Ndejje is back up and running as of the first week of October!
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Uganda has endured several lockdowns, impacting our programs. The most recent lockdown ended in late September.
The single mothers participating in the Ndejje community bakery project are thrilled to be working again. They recently received baking supplies for buns, including aprons, 100kg of multi-purpose wheat flour, butter, yeast, and flavors.
Currently, they are looking for new opportunities to expand their product offerings and increase sales. They have already received positive feedback from the community and look forward to offering more variety soon.
Thank you to our partners for your continued support in planting seeds of hope for single mothers and their children! We thank God for your generosity which enables us to nourish, equip and empower these vulnerable communities.
