Ready for the 2019 Rainy Season

By Roberto A. Ortega | Project Leader

We started planting trees for the 2019 rainy season.

On May 25 we planted 600 trees as the beginning of the tree planting season, with the participation of more than 200 volunteers, we trained, as we have done in each event , also commented on the importance and benefit of caring for and protecting trees.

We plant pines, pirules, white cedar, mesquite, and oak. Also in this event people took trees to plant in their homes, there were 50 people who each took 50 trees. In this event it was very important the help from the companies that committed to take care of the planted trees, they irrigate the trees and we will visit them to follow up on each tree planted.

With this activity we started the 2019 season to take advantage of the rainy season, we have already scheduled 4 more plantations this week in different cities. We will continue to combat climate change to improve the presence of human beings on earth.

It is important to mention that we continue to recruit volunteers for our next plantations, as well as remember that in each event we made a small talk about the trees. Each time more and more volunteers call us to carry out reforestation events in the city. Thank you very much for your donations and share with us the wishes of a world full of trees.
