Pink Armenia was founded in 2007 and is the biggest LGBT community-based organization in Armenia, providing a safe and secure environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people in Yerevan to feel accepted, explore their identities, build social capital and connections with their peers We provide legal, social, psychological and other services to our community in Yerevan, and doing our best to make those services accessible for the community living in the regions.
A year ago we managed to establish our second office outside of Yerevan. Despite the organization's efforts in reaching LGBTQ individuals in the regions, we still face challenges to provide a full package of services there. For that reason, we aim to continue our fundraising campaign for the stability of the organization's work in the regions covering office rent, logistics, center maintenance, services of professional psychologists, social workers and lawyers.
All your contributions will serve to empower LGBTQ people and allies in the regions to continue the fight for equality in Armenia. We require further assistance from the community of like-minded people, who care about human rights and safety. This fundraising effort will help to keep the stability of activities in the regions and professional assistance.
Your contribution will allow us to effectively reach out and provide professional support to LGBTQ people in the regions of Armenia, and empower them to live lives without fear. Pink Armenia's work is vitally important for the safety, well-being and development of the LGBTQ individuals in Armenia. It is, however, impossible to accomplish without your support.
