Dear RVF Supporters:
Meet a very special family! Ernest and his wife, Maria, have 2 sons. Both boys need speech & physical therapy, as well as special education. Ernest and Maria couldn't afford to pay rent as well as pay for therapy. So, they made the tremendously difficult decision to be homeless, and put their rent money towards helping their sons get the help they need. Thankfully, the RVF team learned about this incredibly devoted family, and accepted the boys into the Rosa Vera Fund.
With the boys' medical care taken care of, Ernest and Maria were able to work hard, save even harder, and were able to purchase a small plot of land. Together, as a family, they slowly built their dream home! Humble to the average American, yet truly their castle. Their home has concrete floors, a well with a water filter, and will one day have electricity.
Dreams and living a life of dignity are intertwined.....I truly hope you feel proud ofyour support - you should! You are really helping programs helping children, like Ernest and Maria's boys, live life to the fullest and with the utmost dignity.
