By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing emergency food supply to those affected by the El Nino. Strange weather pattern is indeed ocurring and this results in farmers not able to grow their crops in an abundant manner. In previous reports, we provided them with food supply, vegetable seeds and small farm animals like chicken and goats. This reporting period, we were able to develop a food nucleus farm where we grow different fruits and vegetables in an organic manner and distribute the food to neighboring families and selecting the very poor among them. The fruits and vegetables consist of squash, banana, papaya, cabbage, lady's finger, tomato and eggplant. We were able to provide the products to 75 families during this period.
Again, thank you for your generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
