Dear Friends, with your support and contribution we are able of transforming the life of girls in rural area. Girls in rural area are now more aware and empowered about why it is very important to voice their thoughts. They are also aware about the essential issues like menstruation health, early marriage, domestic violence personal hygiene, education for career building and child rights.
Urmila Shahi( name changed), a 16-year-old girl in Class 10 at Siddhakali Secondary School in Photu village, experienced a transformative journey following her participation in a training program.
In Soru Rural Municipality, there is cultural norms that restrict girls from consuming dairy and touching plants during their menstrual period, posing challenges for girls like Urmila.
