Discussing on use of Rubric for student evaluation

Dear Friends,

We are excited to provide you with an update on our recent educational accomplishments this quarter. With heartfelt gratitude for your continuous support, we have successfully completed a teacher training programs at Chabahil School in Kathmandu. Thanks to the generosity of you, PHASE Nepal has been able to transform teaching methods, making learning an enjoyable experience for young students.

At Pashupati Mitra Secondary School, a training session focused on effective communication for student understanding. Various topics were covered and engaged participants in interactive activities. Emphasizing the government's integrated curriculum, participants learned to create lesson plans, implement project-based and collaborative learning, and evaluate student progress using rubrics.

The training successfully transferred knowledge and skills to participants, with evaluations conducted through assignments and feedback. Teachers at Pashupati Mitra Secondary School showed great enthusiasm during the training. In total, 38 participants, including 21 male and 17 female teachers, benefited from the Teacher Training program.

Overall, the training was a success, and we are grateful for your invaluable support in empowering teachers and improving education.

Here is a testimony from one of the teacher from the school.

"At first, we expected this training to be like previous ones—boring and less useful. However, once it started, we found it incredibly valuable. We learned new, updated teaching methods that we can easily implement in our classrooms. This has made us feel less stressed and more prepared with our lesson plans."             - Ms. Bhandari  ( Name changed)

We look forward to getting your continuous support in the coming days too.

With sincere appreciation,

PHASE Nepal Family
