With your support and contribution we have been able to conduct education programs in remote areas. The educators at the PHASE team are working tirelessly to support the project schools. Here is a brief summary of our most recent initiatives.
We have recently distributed school material in in Rugin, Bajura. The materials that were supported are cupboard, chair, table, volleyball, carpet, P-form, water filter etc.
"The school material support has made it very easy to run regular school activities and extracurricular activities to improve the overall development of school children," stated Rugin Bal Bahdur Bhandari's (name changed) teacher.
In Mugu educational material were supported to 17 students from six different areas (Bama, Bhee, Dhainakot, Natharpu, Photu, and Jima (Sipa) who were identified with disabilities like hearing loss, limb deformities etc. received educational materials. The education materials include school bag, stationary materials, water bottle.
In Mugu education material and personal hygiene kit were supported for children with PWD (people with disability). Before children with PWD were neglected to send to school because of financial situation but now they are motivated to go to school.
The education team is following up with school. We are visiting a public school: Gram Sudhar School to observe the teaching practice, to learn about if the teachers are implementing what they have learnt in training and to interact with teachers and students.

We also have planned to conduct ToT (Training of trainers) for Adult literacy facilitators at Mugu district. After ToT the facilitators will conduct adult literacy class for 250 women in the community for 4 months. The class will enable the community to read, write and use mobile phones.
Further, five days teachers training is scheduled at public school in Sindhupalchok.
With the successful implementation of the child-friendly teaching techniques, the contents will be further adapted to the remote and low-resourced schools in PHASE's remote project areas. We would like to thank you and proudly share with you that your donations are bringing changes in the lives of the neediest people in the remote communities of Nepal. We look forward to continuous support.
