Project

Psycho Educational Society under its mission to prepare and train the rural less privileged students studying in BDP School, Barauli, Block Baldeo, Distt. Mathura, UP, India, to engage with purpose BDP Students during summer holidays.

Purpose of the Project

Utilization of Summer Vacation period of 45 days from 15 May 2018 to 30 June 2018 every year to enhance their educational achievements of BDP School students.

Current Situation

The School remains closed from 15 May 2018 to 30 June 2018 every year and there are no educational and extra-curricular activities during this period. The student remains ideal without any assignments and the period remain un-utilized without any educational programme.

What we did to improve the situation

(i)           We identify the weak students and prepare educational programme to coach the weak students in BDP School, 2 hours every day by the trained teachers.

(ii)          Give assignments to other students who have passed out and promoted to next grade. The assignments are to be completed and submitted to school teachers for evaluation.

(iii)         General classes are arranged one hour every day during the summer vacations for the students to take part in cultural activities.

Result

1.         The weak students by attending the coaching classes with need based educational programmes are brought to average level of achievements and they are able to study comfortably with other students in the next academic session.

2.         The time in summer vacation period of the students is properly utilized and their overall personality is developed. They achieve proficiency in extra curricular activities.

Thanks to Donors

The Management and Members of Psycho Educational Society, BDP School students, staff and teachers are grateful of donors who have donated the funds. With the aid of these funds all these events could happen and the successful event would not have been possible without it.

Utilization of Funds

The funds received from donors are utilized to pay the extra salaries of the teachers paid to them for extra work done during the summer vacations.

Quotes from beneficiaries

The students of classes VI, VII and VIII welcome this programme and they get an opportunity to make up the loss by attending the classes held in summer vacation. The parents of students appreciated the programme conducted in school as their ward’s time is utilized in constructive work and they were not sitting ideal at home and their time was unutilized.
