When devastating hurricanes struck North Carolina and Florida, thousands were displaced, homes were destroyed, and essential supply chains were cut off. In the chaos, menstrual products, a critical yet often overlooked need, became nearly impossible to access for women and girls in shelters and affected communities.
Our Response
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, the Fihri Foundation acted quickly to ensure survivors maintained dignity and hygiene during this difficult time. With your help we donated over 6,000 period products to those in need.
Why This Matters
During disaster relief, menstrual products are often absent from emergency supply lists. Yet, for the thousands of women and girls affected by these hurricanes, they were an urgent need. By stepping in, Fihri filled a critical gap — restoring comfort, dignity, and health in the midst of crisis.
