PATHS advanced its mission to highlight and support LGBTQ+ representation in STEAM by producing 12 in-depth interviews with professionals in fields such as AI, computer engineering, physics, UX design, and digital equity. Filmed in New York City, these interviews capture career pathways, the significance of LGBTQ+ visibility in technical industries, and practical advice for students and job seekers. Beginning in November 2025, this content will be distributed monthly as both a podcast and web series, expanding the program’s reach and educational impact.

PATHS conducted the STEM Is So Gay fundraising campaign during Pride Month to support the PATHS STEAM Educational Grants. The campaign leveraged digital platforms, program partner networks, and in-person outreach at Pride resource fairs in Los Angeles and New York City. These efforts connected the program to diverse community members while amplifying the campaign’s message. As a result, PATHS raised $6,703 in direct support of educational grants for LGBTQ+ students pursuing STEAM careers.

Applications for the 2025 PATHS STEAM Educational Grant opened on August 13 and will run through September 2. Grant decisions will be communicated by early October, and the PATHS Mentorship Program will launch on October 15. Our partnership with Pluralsight has been renewed to provide all mentorship participants with access to career-readiness education and skills training through Pluralsight licenses.
