Pamodzi SDA Church Expansion: A Sanctuary of Hope

Dear Supporters,

We are thrilled to share that the Pamodzi SDA Church Expansion project is steadily transforming from vision to reality—thanks to your prayers, generosity, and continued belief in our mission. Over the past three months, we have completed the foundation and begun raising the structural walls of the new sanctuary that will serve hundreds of worshipers and community members in Pamodzi.

One of the most touching moments was when 12-year-old Tiwonge, who attends Sabbath School in a temporary tent, looked at the rising walls and said, “This will be our real home now.” Stories like hers remind us that this project is more than bricks and mortar—it is about building a space where faith, unity, and healing can flourish. Once completed, the expanded church will host children’s ministries, health seminars, youth mentorship programs, and serve as an emergency shelter for families in need during rainy seasons.

So far, over 180 members and guests have benefited from the project through improved worship space, youth engagement, and volunteer opportunities. We’ve also seen new families begin attending services simply because they feel welcomed into a growing, hopeful space.

In the coming weeks, we will begin roofing and preparing for the interior works.
