Pakistan Emergency Medical Fund

by Dawood Global Foundation - Educate a Girl
Pakistan Emergency Medical Fund

Summary

This is an emergency medical fund - no questions asked - when Pakistani hospitals refuse to treat a dying or injured patient who has no money, as famously took place a few days ago in Karachi. This is a citizens' project and response to one young girl dying when a local hospital allegedly refused to treat her without a PKR 500,000 advance, as reported in local newspapers.
