“Out Run Ebola: Awareness/Protection For Children”

October 21, 2019

The THINK Safe Home and Juvenile Home continue to provide shelter and protection, and health care for vulnerable children and survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence including Human Trafficking.

THINK was among Civil Society and women groups, that advocated along with the Ministry go Gender, Children and Social Protection for the passage of the Domestic Violence Act of 2019 by both Houses of the Liberian Legislature, and was finally passes by the President of Liberia in August 2019. The Domestic Violence Act has been in the Legislature for the passage for the past five years.
The 2019 / 2020 academic year has commenced and five older girls have been enrolled and are attending school.
