As a small charity, our resources are limited. However, our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to secure funding through grants and community events to meet the growing demand for our services.
In the past year, we've experienced a 60% increase in both hotline calls and animals requiring care. Our team of two casual and two volunteer veterinarians has been overwhelmed. To ensure we can continue to provide essential care, especially during the busy summer season, we've made the strategic decision to hire one of our veterinarians full-time. This is a groundbreaking step for South Australia, as Dr. Erik will become the state's first dedicated full-time wildlife veterinarian working in rehabilitation.
Please continue to share our campaign to help as create a better future for South Australia's wildlife.
