This project is part of our primary project SUPPORT 197 CHILDREN WITH CANCER IN COLOMBIA. Orthopedic aids are essential to help children who have undergone surgery due to osteosarcoma. Most of these patients require either crutches or a wheelchair according to medical criteria once they leave the hospital. This will help them recover more quickly and will facilitate the patient´s handling and care for caretakers. These patients will need this type of support for a long time since losing one of their limbs makes them dependent. This is a way of improving the life quality of the patient. The US$50 we received was used to buy crutches for some of the children we help.
