Our project in rural community of Traditional Authority Zulu, Mchinji District, to construct classrooms for orphaned children is progressing slowly due to lack of financial resources. Since from 2018 to 2024 we have not yet finished the construction of a one school Classroom this problem has increased the school drop out rates of orphans students, and for girls it has also contributed to forced early marriages once are not attending classes because private institutions are very expensive.
WHY THIS PROJECT IS IMPORTANT.
Education is a key to success, once vulnerable students are educated they will become Self Reliant citizens of Malawi, which means will also Contribute to the growth and prosperity of our community.
This project is expecting to benefit 400 Vulnerable students through provision of free access of quality education, this will increase the Vulnerable students school enrollment and completion rate each and every year.
Transformation Of Orphans Lives In Malawi (TROLMA) held a consultation meetings with community development structures through community participatory approach, the engaged local leaders agreed to contribute labor, time and locally available resources towards the implemented Construction of Orphans School Classes in Traditional Authority Zulu, Mchinji District, Malawi.
