Dear friends and donors of “little HEARTS orphanage” of Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh State of India,

Thank you so much for your kind support from several years and I hope the same in the coming years to meet children’s needs and education.

I am very happy to inform you that our boy Ramu successfully completed first year B.Tech examinations.  When 60 students attended the examination only 6 students passed and Ramu is one among them with 75% marks.

On 18th of October we have conducted Chess Tournamet to children other children from other homes have also been attended. 32 children participated in the league, Ramu won the finals and got cash prize and a wrist watch.

On 23rd  children celebrated Diwali (Dipavali) and fired crackers, atom bombs etc,. with lot of joy and happiness.

All the children at little hearts doing very well.  As I tell in my every quarterly report we give more importance to education.  Recently we have appointed one lady tutor to teach Science and Maths particularly.

Last month we have taken 2 sister, 2 brothers and 3 boys namely E (8) A (6), Brothers S (8) and Ka (6) whose mother died by poring kerosene and burnt herself.  A (7) who is a Muslim and his mother T who is HIV infected.  N (6) and G (8) referred by Women and Child Welfare Department. (Names omitted to protect privacy of the new children).
Partially, we are supporting and paying English Medium School and Hostel fee to Priyanka and Pravallika whose father died of AIDS and mother is now suffering from HIV and requested us for financial support to continue her children’s education.

In December we expect a site visit from one of our long term donors from Australia. All of us at HEARTS are happy to meet him!

September month expenditure was Rs.55,515 and October expenditure was Rs.60,922. At present we have been feeding and giving shelter to 36 children.

We are expecting another 5 to 10 new children from HIV community whose parents are HIV infected but children are negative.

Before closing this quarterly report I wish you all HAPPY HOLIDAYS and donate more this season and be blessed.

Kind Regards,
