This project will help purchase urgent basic needs like; shoes, clothes, books & stationary, refrigerator, air coolers, fans, water tank, UPS(power back up),for a 14 kids orphanage based in New Delhi, enabling them to live a safe, productive, fruitful & fun filled home & school life while building strong foundation of character. It would further help to construct one additional room, accommodating 4 more orphan girls waiting to be admitted, as inmates of this home.
According to statistics of UNICEF 31 million children live in India as orphans.In 2009, head of India's Central Bureau of Investigation estimated 1.2 million children involved in prostitution. A recent study by media in 2012, has surfaced 800 active agencies involved in Child Trafficking across India.Vulnerable orphan children or street children from poor locations of India are the soft targets being forced into flesh trade or child labor, hence the rate of missing children is growing alarmingly
This Project rescues and provides safe home for 14 orphan kids, being supervised by our in house care taking family, that cooks 3 time nutritious meal, besides snacks and other eatables. Children are assisted in schooling, by providing them Uniform,Shoes,Books,Stationery and tuition classes. Besides this regular health check ups, indoor and outdoor sports events, including field trips and outings are arranged in order to boost & develop their confidence level and personality.
This project enables 14 vulnerable orphan children to break the cycle of poverty and the clutches of flesh trade and child labor, with opportunities to transform themselves in a journey of making their own fruitful future. Through our consistent education and holistic development efforts, it would further enable them to grow as responsible and productive country citizen, with strong commitment to serve the society.
