Planting orchards for rescued animals

Dear friends,

As a vegan charity, our Orchards for Animals program is incredibly dear to us. While it is a specialized branch of our work, it represents the heart of our mission: creating a kinder, more nourishing world for all beings.

A special invitation
We are currently seeking new animal sanctuary partners to join our donation program. We know firsthand how tirelessly sanctuary staff and volunteers work to fundraise and provide lifelong care for their residents. Our goal is to support that hard work by transforming sanctuary grounds into productive, edible landscapes.

How an orchard supports your mission
An orchard provides more than just a beautiful environment; it offers tangible benefits for both the animals and their caregivers:

• Nourishment: A sustainable source of organic fruit to supplement the diets of your residents.
• Enrichment & Play: Natural areas for animals to explore, forage, and relax under the cooling shade of the canopy.
• Ecosystem Health: Trees help stabilize the land, provide windbreaks, and create habitats for local pollinators.

If you manage or know of an animal sanctuary that would benefit from a fruit tree orchard, we invite you to review our requirements and apply.
