We set off wanting to teach 250 students to read as a result, 250 students from five schools have been enrolled in the project.
During the course of implementation, the challenges of teaching children at different stages of learning were apparent. To mitigate this, we introduced the use technology to help participants. This has been received with enthusiasm and progress is being made.
While challenges remain, we continue to receive requests to expand the project to other schools. We hope we can attract the support needed to do so.
The challenge has previously been and continues to be raising the funds needed to bring the project to completion. In light of this we are looking at other ways to attract new donors to support the project as well as encourage previous donors to support it.
