Operational costs support enables our team to continue with the important work of conducting ongoing monitoring of our programs and providing technical support to the beneficiaries. With your support, Our Executive Director recently (January 2024) visited Ms Viola one of the pioneer beneficiaries of our programs in 2015. Viola is a South Sudanese refugee single mother currently living at Boroli Refugee settlement of Adjumani.
In 2015, We supported Viola with a micro loan of UGX 35,000 (Equivalent of $10) to start a business to which she used the money to buy and sell vegetables within the local market located at the settlement. With the profits that Viola got from her business, she continue to increase on her business untill she was bale to buy the first sawing machine since her interest was on Tailoring. During our visit, we found out Viola now has THREE Sawing Machines with one being an expensive one used for designing. She proudly shared her testimony as said
''I am no longer worried about the school fees or feeding of my children, because these sawing machines cater for all the needs of my household'. I am so happy to Voice for Humanity Uganda for putting the first building block of my life trasnformation.
Without your support in keeping us being able to meet the office basic support needs like motor cycle hire to the field, we could never have known the stories of transformation like the one of Viola. You are part of Viola's and many other stories of transformation.
