Our two training staffs have been busy training three new beneficiaries on techniques of bee-keeping. Each woman has received 3 bee-hives and they have been now colonized. The colonization has worked well this time due to the fact that the forest has a lot of bees. We are expecting the harvest to take place in three months from now. The Onura women are really motivated and are working hard to see that this project comes through. Regina Pio (44) receives her three beehives. She is married with 6 children and very poor. She is very fond of her hives. When she received her beehives, she hugged and kissed them.
Quote from Regina – my life and my children will change – I will be doing bee-keeping and harvest honey three times a year and sell them and buy thing we need and school materials for my children and medicines when we are sick. “Life will not be the same again”. Thanks to GlobalGiving and to all our donors.
