Onura is waiting for clean water from you!
Our donors have donated $1,820 towards the project goal of $7,500. Since April we made a new policy of posting projects with a goal of $1000 on GlobalGiving. Once the amount is raise we then increase the amount with similar goal until the budget is achieve.
The river is polluted with... (Clothes, mopes, rags, and sacks)… so the river water that 240 families are using is not safe for drinking. So lack of clean drinking water is still a major challenge in Onura. The situation is bad because water scarcity. Children and moms must walk two hours just going, and the same distance back home to fetch water every day. Children and moms in Onura know that the world is behind them. They are waiting for you to give them “Hand water Pump”. We still need $5,680 to give clean water to Onura!
In the next 3 months new updates will be posted. We will also report if there are new changes from the ground. We will continue to partner with you until the goal of this project is achieve.
